Students who use mobility aids such as electric scooters, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, etc., are advised to research the most accessible route for their needs to get to and from class. This campus map (PDF) showing accessible entrances will help in this process. In case of snow, it may be important for a travel path to be cleared in advance so you have access to classrooms and other facilities on campus. To be assured of timely snow removal, contact the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) to discuss your specific needs before the risks of inclement winter weather.
Please bring to the attention of OAS any locations on campus with accessibility concerns. With adequate notice, OAS can arrange to schedule and/or move an event or class to a location that is more suitable.
If you encounter any difficulties accessing buildings or facilities, please report the problem using the Barrier Report Form.
